For me, I'd have to say it's battle zone. and after my first luck when I beat it, I never get past level 8 or 9 without using cheats.

Hate it or love it Marriani! and inTumed

Post 3 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Tuesday, 08-Feb-2011 8:41:39

I play Newworlds and the-night the most.

Post 4 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 09-Feb-2011 9:49:07

I play Sryth the most. Out of all the games I've played in recent years it's the only one that's consistently held my interest in the nigh on seven years I've been playing.

Post 5 by burak (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 16-Mar-2011 6:48:46

I am playing showdown normal dificulty, and top speed3

Post 6 by mat the musician (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Saturday, 19-Mar-2011 16:55:23

I wish I could play Sryth again, it was so full of stuff to do and had such a rich environment but something broke and though I payed my 20 dollars for adventurers guild when I tried to make the transaction my account got messed up so Now I can't play which stinks. I don't play any audiogames nowadays due to buisiness. I used to love Monster breeder but then it just got kind of boring after a while. What is New Worlds and The night?

Post 7 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Saturday, 19-Mar-2011 19:16:47

Post 10 by burak (Zone BBS Addict) on Tuesday, 22-Mar-2011 8:28:27

Post 17 by burak (Zone BBS Addict) on Friday, 25-Mar-2011 7:55:10

Post 18 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 25-Mar-2011 17:04:36

To travel you just have to hit the Travel link you see in every main location. Then you can travel to anywhere in the kingdom, starting with areas in your immediate vicinity to other parts of the kingdom. So to get from, say Hawklor to Durnsig you would hit Travel, then select the Heart Hills and then Durnsig.

Post 19 by mat the musician (Help me, I'm stuck to my chair!) on Saturday, 26-Mar-2011 12:15:36

I rememberr when I played sryth, there was a place north of hawklor with seven knight statues that i had to fight. What was there purpose? I also encountered a cave with a massive spider in it which I had to kill but it killed me first. Ah well, that's how life goes.

Post 20 by The Shuck Fitter (My name is Liam) on Monday, 28-Mar-2011 3:39:05

mainly I play my own games because I'm working on them a lot of the time. though I do find myself playing Super Egg Hunt evenw hen I'm not coding it. As for other games, I play Entombed now and then.

Post 21 by CrystalSapphire (Uzuri uongo ndani) on Monday, 28-Mar-2011 9:05:42

Post 23 by the icon (Zone BBS Addict) on Monday, 28-Mar-2011 12:04:49

thanks for that. i'm gonna give it another go. so i have a problem, the starting senario with the skellitons doesn't work for me. i kill them, they keep coming and coming and coming and i've only gotten the thing to work once so i don't know if its fixed or if this is normal, but i wanted to do it to get necromancy

Post 24 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 28-Mar-2011 14:45:47

The seven knight statues is a long quest but the experiencereward is good for players who are just starting out. It yields some pretty nice armor as well, though if you're focusing on melee rating only two of he pieces are worth keeping for any length of time, those being Blade of the Fox and Cape of the Griffon, although the Shield of the Dragon is good until you're able to obtain Gralgarak's Shield. But to actually complete the quest you need to defeat all seven statues seven times each. You need to g down the row and defeat the statues one by one, then once they're all defeated you examine the plynth. Place your hand in the impression that appears to claim your reward and reset the sequence. So it's a total of 49 fights for some pretty nice experience. And while you ight not equip all te items depending on what area your particular characer is focusing on, it's advisable to hold onto them all since the GM did hint at the possibility that there might be a quest involving all seven pieces. GIven what little backstoryyou get during that quest I always thought there could be something more to that quest. For instance I was always curious what exactly those knights did to warrant having such a curse placed upon them.

Post 25 by Dave_H (the boringest guy you'll ever know) on Monday, 28-Mar-2011 16:49:29

Thanks for the Playroom link in post 22.

Post 26 by atom bomb (Newborn Zoner) on Sunday, 03-Apr-2011 0:34:55

i personally love rpg type games, so i have tried some muds like miriani, core exiles, and new worlds, but since my email isn't working so well, the game i play the most now is nation states, although i am fairly new so i don't know how to really interact with the game besides responding to issues and joining a region

Post 27 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Wednesday, 06-Apr-2011 4:37:36

Papa Sangre, (for Ipod or iPhone users), playroom, and Anagram Mania are the ones I play the most. Super Egg hunt if I'm feeling up to it. Killing that damn chicken is a challenge. lol

Post 28 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Wednesday, 06-Apr-2011 20:46:41

Lately I've been playing Mysteries of the Ancients, Beta 18 of which was just released day before yesterday. And now he's saying he HOPES, that being the key word, to have the final release done by June.

Post 29 by roxtar (move over school!) on Friday, 08-Apr-2011 22:58:57

Lol, I've heard that before. There aren't many timely devs in the accessible games business.
I'm sure we'll have mota by 2020 or so.

Post 30 by Twinklestar09 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 09-Apr-2011 0:16:33

I don't play many computer games, but; the main ones I do play are on here, and out of those, the ones I play the most are the anagram games and Hangman.

Post 31 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 10-Apr-2011 0:12:20

I imagine Mota'll be out this year barring anything new coming up. The main reason it's taken so long was legal trouble and then he tried briefly to go cross platform. But since he couldn't find an API that worked well on both systems he's had to put that on hold. But if he has anything to say about it the game'll be out this year come hell or high water.

Post 32 by SatansProphet (Forever in the service of Satan, my King...) on Friday, 29-Apr-2011 18:18:04

The game I play the most is Entombed. I love it, flaws and all. Lol.

Hey, on what part of your body would you equip a cape?

Post 33 by synthesizer101 (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 30-Apr-2011 14:50:33

I think torso, but I haven't found any capes. Only tunics and a breastplate.

Post 34 by SatansProphet (Forever in the service of Satan, my King...) on Saturday, 30-Apr-2011 19:39:16

Well, Bryan was saying something about the cape of the Griffon, so I think I'd like to wear that if I can get it. It sounds magical.

Post 35 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Sunday, 01-May-2011 6:58:57

You're talking the wrong game for that LOL. That's Sryth, not Entombed. I don't even tink I've seen a cape in Entombed.

Post 36 by kev (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 04-May-2011 11:42:07

Play Miriani and The Night.

Post 37 by The Elemental Dragon (queen of dragons) on Saturday, 11-Jun-2011 20:49:31

what do i play the most? miriani hands down. sadly and i'm trying to change it, i can't keep a char for very long cuz i end up doing stupid stuff.

i've heard of the night i think. is that a mud with a soundpack where you get swords and get to shoot people? or am i thinking of something else.

and what is hell mu? about? i've heard of it it sounds interesting.

Post 38 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Friday, 07-Oct-2011 21:16:24

Lately I've been playing Papa sangre. I'm stuck on level eleven. You know, the one where you have to get the musical notes from the two pits of quicksand? I understand the concept of walking slowly so I don't trip up and sink, but the damn reaper keeps catching up with me once I get the first note. any pointers from people who've gotten past this part would be welcome.

Post 39 by rusty81 (Zone BBS is my Life) on Sunday, 09-Oct-2011 23:41:17

the kingdom of loathing

Post 40 by starfly (99956) on Tuesday, 11-Oct-2011 14:36:27

The night is a MU based on the present. You hav cars, trains and laptops if you can aford them. Also you sift gold out of a river, and adventually try to find a job or own a business. its not for every one and it sure was not for me.

Post 41 by LeoGuardian (You mean there is something outside of this room with my computer in it?) on Thursday, 13-Oct-2011 18:58:16

Don't be afraid to move away from the note and then back around to it, circle back, just keep your distance from the grim reaper.
Their character for the grim Reaper is certainly different than I imagine it but yes, Papa Sangre is pretty fun game.

Post 42 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Friday, 14-Oct-2011 9:27:00

These days it's Sryth and Airik the Cleric for me.

Post 43 by changedheart421 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Saturday, 15-Oct-2011 22:31:29

Post 44 by The Elemental Dragon (queen of dragons) on Monday, 21-Nov-2011 12:09:56

what do i play the most. miriani hands down. sadly. and pokemon video games. just beat a game i've been trying to beat for the past 6 years. or longer. hmm, longer, deffenatly longer then 6 years. lol.

Post 45 by Thunderstorm (HotIndian!) on Monday, 21-Nov-2011 12:14:51

playroom sounds are much better than rs games of course. I like playroom better.

Post 46 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Tuesday, 29-Nov-2011 11:29:46

Me, lately I've been playing the concept demo of Blastbay Studios' new game Perilous Hearts. There are only two levels and it uses Sapi for much of its speech at the moment but it's shaping up to be one heck of a game when it's finished.

Post 47 by starfly (99956) on Tuesday, 29-Nov-2011 15:24:58

Been playing marriani most of the time, a crew and me are going to the core. Then I go and hang out on the play room. Star conquest is looking pretty good these days.

Post 48 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Wednesday, 30-Nov-2011 11:28:11

Tank commander for actual audio game, or alter aeon for mud.

Post 50 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Sunday, 11-Dec-2011 11:25:55

being a lover of role playing, it's definitely sryth! story driven, the only game i found until now that makes me want to keep playing, used to love rpg but fed up of the ones that seem to be the most popular now where all you have to do is kill monsters to gain gold and exp, level up, buy a better weapon and kill the same monsters again, with no storyline whatsoever and only purpose is to become more powerful so that when you have to do the same things over again you can do it better. whatever happened to good RPGing?

Post 51 by dragons lady (Zone BBS Addict) on Sunday, 11-Dec-2011 13:51:37

rs games.

Post 52 by BryanP22 (Novice theriminist) on Monday, 12-Dec-2011 14:46:29

Yup, I'm a Srythian all the way. I don't buy into the talk about how it's required to donate in order to have any chance of survival. Certainly if you want all the best equipment Tallys has to offer you're going to need to donate, but I've had it proven firsthand that you can complete most if not all the current content on as little as thirty dollars' donation in addition to the twenty bucks a year for the AG subscription. You can, with careful planning, survive Proving Grounds VI, arguably the hardest one of them all, and do so with a perfect score, all with an MR of 170 or so, which is easy to attain without resorting to much gear from Tallys'. What's going to cost you is leveling your powers up to level seventy or so, but even this is doable without too much trouble if you manage your EXP right. It does help if you get a high enough EXP bonus from rolling your starting stats but it's not absolutely necessary.

Post 53 by midnight sun (you can't catch me, i'm the palobread man) on Tuesday, 13-Dec-2011 3:17:50

i agree, and there's also the fact that sryth is continuously updated, with new content at least every few weeks and AG members pay little to have quite a lot, so a little donation can be worth it. i for example, wouldn't donate a cent to a LoGD game, even if they tell me i could have a customized title or use all the colours i want in the live chat. not that i would even play one of those at all, with the possibly exception of one -- if you know the opinion i have of those i give you a moment here to gasp and recover from the shock. :D
it's at
www.improbableisland.com
it's LoGD based, but very different from the start.

Post 54 by blindncool (Zone BBS Addict) on Wednesday, 18-Jan-2012 18:52:03

Well, no 1 game in particular. Most of my time is spent on mushclient. My favorite mud has to be the IfMud (an interactive fiction mud). Yes! It's THE IfMud. It's pretty accessible, if you disregard the bunch of asterisks at the start of the game. It's at http://ifMud.port4000.com:4000. Check it out. P.S, you have to get your acount online.

Post 66 by margorp (I've got the gold prolific poster award, now is there a gold cup for me?) on Tuesday, 31-Jul-2012 16:10:11

The reason I like the games where you kill for exp and gold and level for more power is because it allows you to create your own story by building your charactor.

At Hurricanes Fan, I suck at the shoot the bird game too. It seems that no matter how well you center the birds, you always miss. And they're so annoying that you want to shoot the crap out of them, lol. As for games I play, RS, for the most part now, and World of War when I feel like blowing stuff up. I've kind of fallen out with the Kingdom of Loathing now, I'm not really sure why. I guess I lost interest.

I can't maintain my interest in KOL for long. Sometimes I'll go for years without playing it because after a while the humor ets on my nerves. And this is from a guy who generally loves whacky humor. I actually found KOL more confusing than Sryth, and I also don't like the limited play thing with so many adventures per day.
